Nurse Manager - Med/Surg
The Nurse Manager works under the direction of the Director in the
organization. The Manager is responsible for the overall planning,
organizing, implementing and controlling functions of the department.
The Nurse Manager monitors performance and quality and ensures appropriate
development and interpretation of Health Center policies and procedures.
Demonstrates the philosophy, mission and values of the Health Center
during all interactions with patients, families, staff and others.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or health-related field preferred. Current
registered nursing license in the state. Current CPR certification
and/or ACLS. Management and analysis skills are necessary for the application
of the management process (planning, organizing, directing, and
implementing).
